Explore. Wander. Protect.

Woodland Wanderer was made for summer evenings, garden work, camping trips, trails, livestock chores, and all the other places where being outside is wonderful right up until the bugs show up.

Apricot kernel oil, cold-pressed sunflower oil, and fractionated coconut oil are infused with catnip, holy basil, yarrow, and rosemary, creating the herbal foundation of the formula. Cedarwood, lemon eucalyptus, geranium, lavender, rosemary, sandalwood, and patchouli essential oils round out the blend with botanicals traditionally used in outdoor preparations for their insect-deterring qualities.

The lightweight oil spreads easily over exposed skin without feeling heavy or sticky, while vitamin E helps condition and soften the skin.

Woodland Wanderer is woodsy, herbal, and practical — made for getting outside and staying there a little longer.

A Note from the Herbalist

  • Apricot Kernel Oil – Provides a lightweight carrier for the infused herbs and essential oils while helping keep exposed skin soft and conditioned.
  • Cold-Pressed Sunflower Oil – Serves as a nourishing herbal-infusion base that carries the aromatic plant constituents across the skin.
  • Fractionated Coconut Oil – Helps disperse the botanical ingredients evenly and gives the repellent oil a lightweight, easy-spreading feel.
  • Catnip – Traditionally used in herbal insect-repelling preparations. Its naturally occurring aromatic compound nepetalactone is especially associated with insect-deterring activity.
  • Holy Basil – Strongly aromatic and traditionally used in botanical preparations intended to discourage insects.
  • Yarrow – Traditionally used as an insect-repelling herb as well as in topical herbal care, making it a natural fit for an outdoor skin formula.
  • Rosemary – Traditionally used in outdoor herbal preparations for its strong aromatic oils and insect-deterring qualities.
  • Vitamin E Oil – Helps condition exposed skin and supports the stability of the oil-based formula.
  • Cedarwood Essential Oil – Traditionally used to discourage insects and valued for its strong woody aromatic compounds.
  • Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil – Widely associated with botanical insect-repellent preparations and valued for its strong lemony-eucalyptus aroma that helps deter insects.
  • Geranium Essential Oil – Traditionally used in outdoor botanical blends for its strongly aromatic constituents and insect-deterring qualities.
  • Lavender Essential Oil – More than a soothing skin herb; lavender has also traditionally been used to discourage insects and is commonly included in botanical outdoor blends.
  • Rosemary Essential Oil – Concentrates rosemary’s strong aromatic constituents and is traditionally used in insect-repelling preparations.
  • Sandalwood Essential Oil – Adds a long-lasting woody base note that helps anchor the more volatile aromatic oils while also contributing to the overall botanical deterrent blend.
  • Patchouli Essential Oil – Traditionally used for its strong, persistent earthy aroma and insect-deterring qualities, while helping give the blend staying power on the skin.
