Herbal traditions have long been part of how families care for themselves through the changing seasons. I created this collection to bring together three different ways to enjoy botanicals: a warming cup of tea, a traditional infused vinegar, and an aromatic herbal balm.

Each product is thoughtfully formulated and handcrafted with care at Little Prairie Herbal Apothecary.

Fireside Shield Herbal Tea | 1 oz

Elderberry (Sambucus nigra), Astragalus Root (Astragalus membranaceus), Tulsi Leaf (Ocimum tenuiflorum), Rosehips (Rosa canina), Ceylon Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum verum), Lemon Peel (Citrus limon), Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale), Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra).

Fireside Shield Herbal Balm | 1 oz

Cold-Pressed Sunflower Oil infused with Rosemary, Thyme, Ginger, and Elecampane; Jojoba Oil, Beeswax, Essential Oils of Clove Bud, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Thyme, and Oregano; Alkanet Root.

Fire Cider | 8 fl oz

Apple Cider Vinegar, Raw Honey, Horseradish, Ginger Root, Turmeric Root, Garlic, Onion, Lemon, Cranberry, Elderberry, Thyme, Oregano, Habanero Pepper.

How to Use

Fireside Shield Herbal Tea

Add 1–2 teaspoons of loose tea to 8 oz hot water. Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes. Strain and enjoy.

Fireside Shield Herbal Balm

Massage a small amount onto the chest, neck, back, or soles of the feet. A warming sensation may occur. Avoid sensitive areas.

Fire Cider

Shake well before use. Enjoy 1 tablespoon daily, diluted in water or juice, or incorporate into salad dressings and other recipes.
Storage

Herbal Tea: Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.

Herbal Balm: Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Fire Cider: Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Shake well before use. Follow any additional storage instructions on the bottle.

  • Herbal Tea & Fire Cider: Do not use if allergic to any ingredients. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before use if pregnant, nursing, taking medications, or managing a medical condition. Fire Cider contains raw honey and should not be given to infants under 12 months.
  • Herbal Balm: For external use only. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes, sensitive areas, and broken or irritated skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Not recommended for children under 10 years of age.
